Presentation

Using Content Automation in Your Content Strategy

Companies publish valuable content for range of uses, both internal and external. That content is expensive to produce, so many companies are either currently using, or are considering adopting, a component content management system (CCMS). The benefit of a CCMS is to allow reuse of content in multiple documents to lower costs and drive business value through omni-channel publishing. This requires structuring of the content for a variety of consumers and document types. Another layer of complexity is presented when the content must be provided in different formats required for multiple platforms including mobile devices.

Content automation provides the means to deploy business critical information in the necessary format required for each type of target platform and user. This creates even more value for the original content and makes persuading managers to invest in a CCMS easier.

This presentation will help you to convey the value to managers when proposing adoption of a CCMS that includes content automation.  A demonstration of content automation will be provided starting from authoring, going through the workflow process of review and approval, and ending with publication and modes of distribution.

7 Hutton Centre Dr.
Santa Ana, California 92707-5794

There is another DoubleTree hotel nearby, so it’s easy to accidentally go to the wrong location if you do a search for “DoubleTree” on your phone, instead of searching for the exact address!

The DoubleTree Club offers complimentary valet parking. If you prefer to self-park, tell the valet that you’re at the hotel for an OCSTC meeting, and ask if you can park yourself.
