April 2017 Business Meeting and Mixer Event

Join OCSTC for our Spring mixer and business meeting to introduce the 2017-2018 council.  Catch up with fellow technical communicators, editors, illustrators, content strategists, instructional designers, and hiring managers. This is a casual event, so feel free to bring your co-workers and friends—just make sure you bring your business cards too!

We selected Brio Tuscan Grille for its warm ambiance and selection of alcohol-free beverages, as well as wine and other refreshments.  OCSTC is providing the appetizers; you bring an appetite for sparkling conversation and friendly networking.

Agenda: Announcing council election results, chatting, mingling, laughing and schmoozing. This is a great opportunity to make new connections with local technical communicators and other professionals.   Don't be surprised if a post-event continues on Brio's patio with its cozy couches and flickering fireplaces.

Did we say the event is free?  It is, but we need to plan the appetizer offerings and give Brio an idea of how many attendees are expected.  So, please register!  Walk-ins are welcome.

About the Venue

Brio Tuscan Grille is located in the Irvine Spectrum complex and offers Italian fare with wine, beer, a full bar, and a selection of alcohol-free refreshments.

The Irvine Spectrum is conveniently wedged between the 5 and 405 freeways. 

Parking: There is plenty of free parking in the adjacent structure.
