anyone is ready to start accepting work. The harder part is finding and keeping work while making money at your job. In this session Tamara Harpster will offer tips and resources about starting your own
business or working as a contractor. Attend this meeting to see if small business owner is a good fit and how to get started.

About the speaker

Tamara Harpster has fifteen years’ experience as a small business owner developing technical manuals and training for government contracts. Her experience includes proposal writing, project lead, bookkeeping, IT support and the equivalent of herding cats to make on-time deliveries. In her spare time she writes articles about her experience with computers and business practices (Theory vs Reality) which are published on her family business website Shell Creek Publishing.
