About the mixer

Join us online for the OCSTC Annual Holiday Party.

This year’s holiday party will be hosted virtually. Although we will miss seeing each other in person and feeding everyone this holiday season, we are using the web to prioritize safety and making it possible to meet people from all kinds of regions and time zones!

We will be starting games and prizes prompty at 6:30 p.m.

You will meet some of our most active members, new members, long-time Techcomm professionals, students, and anyone who is interested in Techcomm, even if they are not yet in the profession. Log in to chat, have fun, and unwind with your Orange County-area professional network.

We are writers, editors, content strategists, graphic designers, Web and Intranet page information designers, instructional designers, students, and others whose work involves making technical information understandable and available to those who need it. Non-STC members and anyone interested in Technical Communications or related fields are welcome check out what we’re all about!

Meeting format

Join us virtually on Tuesday 12/08 at 6 p.m. PST. Timeline is tentative depending on the flow of our meeting.

  • Brief annoucements and chapter news.
  • Introductions/networking/job postings.
  • Networking.
  • Games, raffles, and prizes. 

How to join

Register by selecting the Register or Join button at the top of this page near the presentation title. You'll need to register for this event before the deadline. This is a FREE meeting. The evening before the meeting, you will get a Zoom meeting URL with a password emailed to you with the email that you registered with. 

Keeping your video on is optional but highly recommended.
Wearing earbuds or a headset is also highly recommended.
