Do you know what SharePoint is?  Do you use SharePoint – and want to learn more about leveraging its power in your job?  Is your organization considering introducing SharePoint or upgrading to SharePoint 2010?  If you are interested in or want to learn more about SharePoint, join the OCSTC for its summer field trip!

Our speaker will cover what SharePoint is. . .and even what it isn’t!  Some of us may remember when SharePoint was a sleepy, free add-on Microsoft included with Office 2000 and 2003.  Like many other applications, SharePoint has matured – become more user-friendly, more intuitive and more flexible.  

Our speaker will share what a team site is – and how to build one as well as cover creating and deleting document workspaces and libraries.  We will get an overview of workflows, views, permissions, security and see how well SharePoint works with Office 2010.
