About the free virtual chapter meeting

Welcome to 2022! All hands on deck! Are you a veteran tech com professional? Are you a recent graduate who just landed their first gig in the field? Are you looking into a career in tech com? Look no further.

The OCSTC is inviting all tech com professionals to share their knowledge and answer some questions from students, tech com newbies, and those who are looking for a new career in the field! Everyone who attends the meeting will be able to participate. This meeting will also be great for students to learn about what it's like to work in the field and to find a possible mentor!

If you're looking for ways to give back, this is also a great way to help by spreading your knowledge on to others.

If you're a student or a tech com newbie

Come with your questions on the tech com industry. You'l be in a virtual room with tech com professionals who can answer your questions. If you're a tech com professional

You can sit and observe or jump in to answer any questions from students or those eager to join the tech com world! 

Meeting format

Join us virtually on Tuesday 1/18 at 6pm.
We will keep things casual with some informal networking and hear about how you all are doing. We'll be doing the following:

• Networking with each other and learning about job opportunities.
• Announcing chapter news.

• Having fun. 

How to join

You'll need to register for this event before the deadline. This is a FREE meeting. The day before the meeting, you will get a Zoom meeting URL with a password emailed to you with the email that you registered with. 

Video is optional but highly recommended.
Wearing earbuds or a headset is also highly recommended.
