ChatGPT was introduced nearly a year ago now. In that time, we've heard how generative AI was going to fundamentally change the way we work and ultimately replace knowledge workers like technical communicators. In this session we're going to talk about what's real and what's hype. By now the dust has somewhat settled and many of us have had a chance to play around with ChatGPT to get a better undemanding of its capabilities as well as its limitations.

In this session, Michael will cut through the hype and show you how to use ChatGPT, Bard, and Bing Chat. He'll explain how to formulate prompts to get the most out of GPT, and he'll share how he has used GPT to work smarter and faster. Following this initial summary, Michael invites the attendees to share their own successful prompts and tips for GPT.

This session is intended to be an interactive. discussion. Whether you consider yourself a heavy GPT user or a novice, you're welcome and encouraged to share how ChatGPT has enhanced your work.
